Good Mental Health Day for Persons with Learning Disabilities
Re-Instate had the attended the Good Mental Health Day event in Bexleyheath on Monday 20th January 2025. The event was held to offer a range of information for people with Learning Disabilities about the varied services available in the Borough.
Re-Instate was represented by our Training and Outreach Coordinator, Nathan Swartz.
Re-Instate ran a session on how to be happy and healthy when finding, staying in and growing at work. The participants had the opportunity to build their own “Smile at Work Wellbeing Tree”, where some had shared the experiences and challenges people with Learning Disabilities face in work. The presentation also offered solutions around finding work and highlighted some of the support available.
